Re: [IBWiFi] Re: High quality good service!

Not on the Yahoo that I go to! I just checked again. No 6128. Maybe
there's another Yahoo in some "parallel universe".

Anyway, this thread is OVER........let's find something more related to
WiFi.

That's interesting. Take another look and tell me the message number.

Here's the "Management Activity" Log where I deleted the message:

"Rejected spam message #1886596986 via web by bndrwhite <flw300@aol.flw>"

It may sometimes take Yahoo a while to react to Management Activity, but I
just looked now and the message is not there.

I don't want to seem like a PITA I am just trying to understand how things work. I just clicked on Yahoo Groups-selected Internet by WIFI and the post in question was still there. No big deal.

I removed the original message from the web site as soon as I saw it,
notified the member that he had a problem and placed him in moderated status so
I could watch for any further "hijacked" messages.

Since the post came into the web site under a long term members email
address, it went out to all who receive the posts by email or digest. Once
those have gone out, there is no way to recall them.

What is your point, Jim?

I don't ban members in good standing because some cretin hijacked their
email address. I notify them of the problem and ask them to fix the problem.

Re: [IBWiFi] Re: Alph Purchase

Hi Fre

I went straight to Data Alliance.net and did a rush shipping on it...   $50.00 total..

 I may have purchased the 500 mw unit... Model - - 500.1510.1203.2007

I'm sure it will work better than the Old Linksys USB stick I had 7 years ago -- at least I hope so.   Oh, yes - - cheaper than the Linksy of years ago also.

Re: [IBWiFi] WIFI System

The majority of the time you are stuck with whatever the provider is using,
unless you have an inside track, or the ability to set up your own bridge
(which if you were there a long time, might work) and control both ends.
