I removed the original message from the web site as soon as I saw it,
notified the member that he had a problem and placed him in moderated status so
I could watch for any further "hijacked" messages.
Since the post came into the web site under a long term members email
address, it went out to all who receive the posts by email or digest. Once
those have gone out, there is no way to recall them.

My point was you know it is spam from what you just posted but you left it
on the Forum. Are you not allowed to delete spam?
