I just signed up for Alltel service and they will be part of Verizon by Oct
15....I got unlimited data but the connection is a bit slower in the rural
areas...

Hi Everyone,

I just joined the group today after finding out about it from an RV list on
which I
participate.

We travel a lot and use Verizon for our cell phones because of the great
coverage. On
the road we have been using VZ Broadband by "tethering" our cell phone.

At home we have Hughesnet Satellite for our internet connection and I have
hated it
for five years! So we are considering going VZ all the way, but I don't like
their
5g/mo limit.

Someone mentioned that Sprint has the same type of program where for $69 per

month one can get "unlimited" access and by purchasing a router a number of
computers can be connected.

Question: Anyone have Sprint in that form? Any information will be
appreciated.
