Internet via a cell phone modem is different than wifi. Wifi would require that you add a wifi device to your computer (easy) but you would be piggy-backing on somebody else's network and internet access. A friendly neighbor might agree, for fee or for free.
You may be able to get internet access via your cell phone if it has a built-in modem. Suggest you inquire on the InternetByCellPhone group rather than this one.
