Your question crosses over into cell phone data. You will find good info
on the Internet by Cell Phone group and also the Internet by Data Card
Group.
The quick answer is "Yes". Most cell service providers sell a cellular
hotspot. It connects automatically to the cell provider's tower and creates
a hotspot that your computer can connect to and then access the Internet.
One example is the Verizon "MiFi" system. I have a friend that uses the
MiFi and it does a good job.
