Re: [IBWiFi] a question about multiple wifi's

Hi Don,

Thanks, to follow up on that our Apple Tiger works intermittently. We thought
the airport card may be going bad. Could it be a channel issue that we might
fix by changing the channel? We have a PHS300.
thanks,

Hi safoocat,

There are 11 possible channels in the "group". They can interfere with each other. Most wifi routers come set to a default of channel 6. That can be changed.

There are several wifi's in our area that I can see on my computer.

What is stopping them from interfering with each other? Aren't they

all on the same frequency?

Thanks in advance,
