Hi All.
I bought the above USB Wireless adapter after the discussions in this group. Its good on my Netbook but I really prefer to use my Laptop, which has a problem with the adapter's USB connection.
The Laptop USB will recognize the adapter then within a couple of seconds "disconnect" the USB, then recognize it, then disconnect it etc. etc. etc.
Windows XP SP3
Built in WiFi disabled
Was using a Cantenna - I have removed the driver for it.
Installed the ALPHA properly per. its CD.
It will not run the ALFA "utility" unless the adapter is recognized by the USB - this doesn't stay on long enough to click "windows zero configuration" - which worked for the Netbook
It also appears and disappears from Windows Networks and settings.
Any ideas ??
I'm on the road so will check for replies when I can
