Update:
I am now connected via the WiFi net at another campsite, so will have to wait until I get back to Alabama to see what the problem is there.
Thanks for all the suggestions.

This is what I do to determine if it is connection problem to the WiFi access point or from the access point to the internet. Open a "Command Prompt" (old DOS command line type) windows. Enter at the prompt:
IPCONFIC /ALL
It should respond with:
...
Dhcp Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : Yes
Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.108
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255. 0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1
DHCP Server . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1
DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.6.1
Then enter:
PING the "Default Gateway"
In my case it would be:
PING 192.168.1.1
If you get a good consistent "Reply from ..." then it is NOT your WiFi connection to the access point. If you get only, or the majority being "Request timed out." Then it is you WiFi connection. I would go to the office and try from there to see if the problem goes away, or not. In either case you can tell the manager of you problem, explain what you did, and ask for help in resolving the problem. You may have to move.
If you don't even have an "IP Address" you have to weak of a radio signal to be heard by the Access Point.
Good luck, Larry
