Firewall would make sense, but I double checked that. Even turned Windows Firewall on, and then back off again.

I had a problem with a system I could not connect to and was getting ready to pull my hair out. As a last resort I double checked my firewall to make sure it was off and discovered that somehow I had a second firewall turned on, My router has its own firewall, but the software had turned one one unknown to me. Might want to double check it.
