Hi Jim,
Thanks for the post about the Alpha AWUS 036 H USB WIFI unit... I have ordered one and hopefully with Priority Mail it should be here by Wed of this week.
I will start with this unit and than maybe, like you, add a Yage antenna or just try and use the vertical one that I have now..
Thanks again - - - just what I was looking for.

Dick,
I have tried quite a few WIFI combinations and this is what I use now and it
seems to be about the best there is right now. Alpha AWUS 036 H USB adapter
from data-alliance. net. SMA coax from them also. hyperlinktech. com HG 2415
Y-RSP 15db Yagi antenna. I use satellite TV in the coach so I cut the
batwing off of its mount and made a mount for the 2415 so I can turn it from
inside.
The
mount I made has a R/C model servo connected to the antenna so I can also
control tilt angle also. I also have a jefatech.com PA 24-19 flat panel
that works a little bit better but on a pole above the roof it catches a lot
of wind so I don't use it often.
