Hi,
I have the MBR 1200 and it is wonderful. It allows up to 65 devices to be connected. The power supply draws 4 watts. If you so wish, up to four modems can be used at once--either in a combined mode or on a "fail over" basis. I'm currently using it with a USB 760 and a USB 727 both from Novetel.
The mifi, as good at as it is, will not be compatible with GSM technology--and can not be used with a different provider. It may be that where you are going, changing providers would be worthwhile (signal strength issues). The MBR will allow that.
I am wanting to buy a Wilson's Sleek, too. Does anyone know of a retail store that carries it?
Regards,
Don Rose

We currently use a Verizon UM 150 USB modem and the wifi where we are currently working to connect our 2 laptops. Not great but ok service. We will be going to Idaho next summer and I want to be prepared for weak service. I am eligible for a free modem upgrade with Verizon at this time. It has come down to the Cradlepoint MBR 1000 with a Wilson Sleek Cell Phone Booster for MiFi using our current USB modem versus the Verizon MiFi 2200.
Don't know which way to go.
