Jim, Over the past year or so I have received promo offers of a free phone, new modem, free months of service, etc. Thankfully I ignored them all however tempting some of them were. I realize now what Verizon really was up to. Nothing is better than what I have now with my unlimited service. Joyce

He might be getting at how they will actually "trick" you into changing
a grandfathered plan if it is for "their" benefit, and "not" explaining
why it might be to your benefit to not change it!
